Exploring the Capabilities of a Graduating European Dentist: A Multistakeholder View

In 2026 the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) Graduating European Dentist (GED) taskforce held an international multi-stakeholder event that explored opinions, perceived understanding, and clinical expectations around student progress and graduating student capabilities. This paper reports how the event was planned and conducted-and reports the opinions of the stakeholders relating to the importance of various clinical domains, evaluation/assessment metrics and markers when monitoring student progress and student capabilities.
