Abstract:
Traditional diagnostic and therapeutic methods for inflammation are hindered by the separation of monitoring and treatment, making dynamic tracking and precise intervention difficult to achieve. To address these issues, this study constructed a series of metal-organic framework (MOF)-based nanoplatforms of varying sizes that integrate multiphoton excited fluorescence imaging, reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging, and targeted delivery functions. The results showed that the ROS scavenging efficiency of the resulting samples followed a "volcano-type" trend with changes in particle size. Moreover, the multiphoton excited fluorescence performance also varied dynamically with particle size, enabling real-time feedback on the ROS scavenging process. This study provides a new strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of inflammation.
