Abstract:
A hollow N-doped carbon shell encapsulating an Ag catalyst was developed for stable CO2 electroreduction. The carbon shell prevents Ag aggregation, with its pyridinic N enhancing CO2 transport and adsorption. This synergistic effect delivers a high CO selectivity of 92.7% at 250 mA cm-2 in MEA and prolonged stability.
