Abstract:
An unconscious free-ranging rhesus macaque with suspected maternal trauma presented with dystocia and stillbirth. Following the stabilization, assisted obstetrical intervention resulted in the successful delivery of a full-term stillborn foetus with uneventful maternal recovery. Maternal trauma was considered a plausible contributor to foetal death, highlighting the importance of timely obstetrical management.
