Abstract:
The synthesis of the monomeric alanediyl MSFluindtBuAl is reported. Its molecular structure is established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and NMR spectroscopy, supported by theoretical calculations. MSFluindtBuAl features a singly-bonded aluminium(I) atom that is stabilized by an s-hydrindacene substituent.
