Abstract:
An 80-year-old man underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT and 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT for a biopsy-confirmed metastatic gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). While 18F-FDG PET/CT revealed intensely increased uptake in the perisplenic, right abdominal, and pelvic peritoneal implants, 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT unexpectedly showed negligible tracer uptake across all corresponding lesions.
