Abstract:
The full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, soon entering its fourth year, has caused immense destruction of life and property and massive population displacement in Ukraine. Mothers and children have disproportionally been affected by this war. Children's physical and mental health have deteriorated, especially in the occupied territories and among those displaced by the invasion. Health services are stretched thin, and resources are severely limited. It has become more difficult to obtain care for the increasing number of children with disabilities and mental health crises. Education has been disrupted. Through it all, the Ukrainian people have been resilient.
