Abstract:
In recent years, a great deal of scientific research has been published within Dutch dentistry. It is common practice to do this primarily in international journals. But do practicing dentists also obtain their scientific knowledge from there? The aim of this research was to gain insight into the publication behavior of researchers at dental faculties in the Netherlands and the information search behavior of practicing dentists in the Netherlands, and the extent to which these correspond.
