Abstract:
This work explores degradation of Li-rich Mn-based layered oxide cathodes using an operando FBG-DEMS platform for simultaneous strain and gas detection. Variable-temperature tests reveal a consistent temporal offset where stress-related relaxation precedes O2 evolution across 5-55 °C, providing experimental constraints for understanding the chronological sequence of cathode degradation.
