Abstract:
Methanol is a sustainable, low-cost feedstock produced from CO2 or non-food biomass. We report the complete genome sequence of Methylobacillus glycogenes strain PKM581, a soil-derived obligate methylotroph enriched on methanol. The genome comprises a single circular chromosome of 3,397,625 bp.
