Abstract:
We herein report a stepwise terphenyl steric shielding strategy to construct novel B,N-embedded multi-resonance emitters, which greatly suppresses electroluminescence redshift and spectral broadening. Target molecule 2TP-BN achieves 25.6% maximum external quantum efficiency and narrow full-width at half-maximum of 26 nm, supplying a new design strategy for sterically hindered emitters.
