Abstract:
Azotobacter is a genus of free-living and nitrogen-fixing aerobic bacteria. "Azotobacter tropicalis" strain KBS was isolated from soil in Japan. The genome sequence of strain KBS comprised a single circular chromosome and two putative plasmids.
