Abstract:
The history of acupuncture writings by the Chinese medical scholar and educator YANG Yiya was systematically examined and organized. By consulting sources such as the Union Catalog of Chinese Medical Books and related bibliographical literature, we first compiled and verified the bibliographies of YANG's acupuncture works, correcting multiple errors in previous records and adding newly discovered works. Based on this, the study presents a chronological account of YANG Yiya's over 60 years of writing on acupuncture, closely linking his publications to his life experiences and the historical context. The study analyzes the background, content characteristics, and interrelations of his representative works. In total, YANG Yiya authored 27 confirmed acupuncture-related works, including textbooks, lecture notes, compiled works, translations, charts, journals, and monographs. This research holds significance for studies in the history of medicine during the Republican period, bibliographical research, and scholarly investigations of YANG Yiya's academic thought.
