A Case of a Rare Testicular Tumor With Synchronous Malignancy

Introduction:
Leydig cell tumors are an uncommon malignancy accounting for 1%-2% of all testicular tumors. Synchronous, non-testicular malignancy is a rare finding.
Case Presentation:
A 51-year-old male presented with left testicular pain, and a scrotal ultrasound revealed a testicular mass. Radical orchiectomy histology demonstrated a Leydig cell tumor. Staging imaging depicted a large anterior mediastinal mass, with resection demonstrating a thymoma.
Conclusion:
With the increasing incidence of testicular cancer, it is important to recognize the disease's signs and symptoms. Leydig cell cancer has the potential for metastatic disease, and staging imaging is imperative, with consideration for potential metastatic disease versus synchronous malignancy.
