Titanium enhanced carbon capture of lithium orthosilicate in a binary lithium source

Abstract:
Herein, we reported a synergistic strategy using a binary Li2CO3/LiOH lithium source coupled with TiO2 incorporation to enhance the CO2 capture performance of Li4SiO4. The mixed lithium precursor improved CO2 capture capacity, while TiO2 incorporation further stabilized its structure to suppress sintering over long cycles. Our work thus provided an effective strategy for developing high-performance oxide-based sorbents for CO2 capture.
