Abstract:
Retroperitoneal schwannomas are rare benign tumors arising from peripheral nerve sheath cells and are often diagnosed incidentally due to their nonspecific clinical presentation. We report the case of a 37-year-old woman presenting with isolated right-sided lower back pain caused by a compressive right retroperitoneal mass. The patient underwent complete surgical excision, and definitive histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a retroperitoneal schwannoma.
