Current Status and Influencing Factors of Time Management Among Chinese Nurses: A Cross-sectional Study

Purpose:
To explore the relationship among clinical nurses' time management competence, work stress, nursing information competence, and reflective practice.
Background:
With the increasing care demands from patients, nurses' time management competence is directly related to nursing quality, patient outcomes and occupational health.
Methods:
To explore the relationship between nurses' time management competence, work stress, nursing information competence, and reflective practice through a cross-sectional survey.
Results:
Time management among Chinese nurses in this study demonstrated a mean of 54.24 and SD ±14.36. Work stress level, nursing information competency, and reflective practice competence were found to be positively correlated with time management of Chinese nurses.
Conclusions:
Optimizing workload, strengthening nursing informatics training, and improving reflective practice mechanisms can enhance nurses' time management competence and promote the advancement of nursing quality.
