Abstract:
A robust Cr-decorated Ni(OH)2/NF electrocatalyst for efficient ethanol upcycling achieves 50 mA cm-2 at 1.348 V vs. RHE with >95% acetate selectivity and 100 h stability. Operando Raman spectroscopy reveals accelerated NiOOH formation, while DEMS indicates a preferential C2 oxidation pathway during ethanol electrooxidation. A Cr-decorated Ni(OH)2/NF electrocatalyst efficiently upcycles ethanol to acetate with >95% selectivity and 100 h stability.
