Abstract:
As genomics becomes increasingly mainstream, primary care will play a critical role in delivering genomics-informed healthcare. Drawing on our experience building a genomics education program for US physicians and nurse practitioners trained in primary care, we highlight that genomic capability requires education, workflow-integrated clinical support, and access to genetics expertise.
