Objective:
To describe a multidisciplinary, digitally integrated life-cycle management framework for early gastrointestinal (GI) cancer and present its development and preliminary implementation experience within a high-volume tertiary center.
Methods:
This narrative review synthesizes published evidence, clinical guidelines, policy documents, and preliminary institutional implementation experience related to multidisciplinary coordination, digital infrastructure, risk stratification, and longitudinal follow-up.
Results:
The proposed framework integrates AI-driven risk stratification, standardized endoscopic treatment, follow-up and data-driven monitoring through a coordinated Physician-Nurse-Administrator team and a "One-System, Three-Platforms" infrastructure. Preliminary implementation experience from colorectal polyp management suggested improved operational indicators, including patient preparation, follow-up continuity, resource utilization, and satisfaction.
Conclusion:
This framework offers a practical approach to coordinating screening, treatment, and longitudinal follow-up in early GI cancer care. Its clinical effectiveness, long-term impact, and scalability require prospective multicenter evaluation.
