Abstract:
Flexor tendon injuries present complex surgical and rehabilitative challenges, particularly in zone 2 of the hand. This article presents a case of recurrent flexor tendon failure in a young manual laborer, detailing initial repair, rupture, and secondary reconstruction. Despite multiple complications, including recurrent ruptures and repair failures, the case underscores the importance of individualized surgical planning, coordinated rehabilitation, and shared decision-making in achieving optimal functional recovery.
