Abstract:
Mixed neuroendocrine-non-neuroendocrine neoplasms (MiNENs) of the gallbladder are exceedingly rare entities. We report a case of a 35-year-old female with a palpable right hypochondrial mass. Imaging demonstrated a large polypoid gallbladder lesion with periportal lymphadenopathy. The patient underwent open cholecystectomy with lymphadenectomy. Histopathology and immunohistochemistry revealed a MiNEN. At 12-month follow-up, she remained free of recurrence without any adjuvant chemotherapy.
