Abstract:
Amorphous materials offer excellent structural compatibility with crystalline hosts for interfacial regulation. Here, an amorphous B2O3 coating was constructed on layered oxide cathodes for sodium-ion batteries through amorphization engineering. The disordered interface facilitates Na+ transport and stabilizes the cathode framework, thereby improving rate capability and cycling stability.
