Abstract:
The tetratricopeptide repeat protein gene OsDSF7 gene helps rice withstand drought and salt stresses. Naturally occurring differences in its regulatory region alter gene activity and stress tolerance. A favorable version improves field performance, particularly under salt conditions, offering a resource for breeding resilient rice.
