Abstract:
Zhang and colleagues uncover a mechanism of regulation of RAS stability that is active almost exclusively in hematologic (heme) malignancies. This provides new insights into the consequences of a RAS hotspot mutation found in leukemia and myeloma and points to a new therapeutic opportunity in these diseases. See related article by Zhang et al., p. XX.
