Phagocytic activity of leucocytes in rhinitis allergica

The phagocytic activity of the neutrophilic leucocytes has been investigated in atopic patients both before and during specific antiallergic treatment. It was then established that there were deviations in relation to the controls. During the specific antiallergic treatment the activity decreased to a remarkable extent, and subsequently to a more normal course after a longer period of treatment.
