Abstract:
Hepatic artery aneurysms are the second most common visceral artery aneurysm, accounting for approximately 20% of cases. A 71-year-old female with hypertension and diabetes presented for back pain 1 month prior and was found to have an 8.0-cm hepatic artery aneurysm. Endovascular repair was performed via common femoral artery access under local anesthesia. A 7 × 29-mm Gore VBX stent graft was followed by a 7 × 39-mm VBX with 2-cm overlap. Completion angiography confirmed aneurysm exclusion with preserved flow to the liver. Despite the technical challenges of short landing zones, aneurysm exclusion was achieved with endovascular treatment.
