Abstract:
The National Health Service (NHS) 10-year health plan for England calls for transformational changes to service delivery, encompassing three fundamental 'shifts': hospital to community, analogue to digital and sickness to prevention. This editorial reflects on the plan, the three shifts and their implications for mental health service provision across the life course.
