Abstract:
Excessive internet use during classes may adversely impact students' moral sensitivity by affecting their ability to retrieve, process, and apply information effectively. This cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted to determine levels of cyberloafing and moral sensitivity in nursing students (n = 211) and explore the relationship between them. Data were collected using the Cyberloafing Behavior Scale and Modified Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire for Student Nurses. Students primarily engaged in sharing as a form of cyberloafing behavior; a significant negative correlation was observed between sharing and interpersonal orientation. Both moral sensitivity and cyberloafing behaviors were at moderate levels.
