Abstract:
Proximal tracheal mucoepidermoid carcinoma may remain occult despite prolonged upper-airway symptoms and normal flexible nasoendoscopy. Stridor following tracheal resection should prompt assessment of the anastomosis, as early postoperative stenosis caused by A-frame deformity and granulation tissue may be successfully managed with combined laser therapy, balloon dilatation, and intralesional corticosteroid injection.
