Abstract:
We present a genome assembly of Salix herbacea (Dwarf Willow; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Malpighiales; Salicaceae). The primary assembly has a total length of 421.43 megabases. Most of the primary assembly (92.79%) is scaffolded into 19 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome assembly has a length of 692.62 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 155.63 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
