Abstract:
Human reproduction and development span a continuum shaped by genetic, molecular, and environmental factors. However, relevant data remain dispersed across public repositories and the literature, limiting systematic integration, analysis, and reuse. We developed the Human Reproduction and Development Database (HRD; http://www.inbirg.com/hrd/), an integrated multi-omics resource that organizes publicly available data relevant to multiple reproductive, pregnancy, and developmental contexts. HRD version 1.0 contains 814 omics records, including 432 bulk transcriptomic, 144 single-cell or single-nucleus transcriptomic, 156 epigenomic, 52 metabolomic, and 30 proteomic records, together with 702 clinical trial records, 293 exposure-outcome associations, and 779 lead SNPs with curated phenotype associations. By harmonising key metadata and applying data-type-specific analysis workflows, HRD brings omics data, genetic associations, exposure-outcome evidence, and clinical trial data into a common framework for exploring data from multiple stages of reproduction and development. The website supports keyword search, combined filtering, category-based browsing, statistical summaries and data downloads, and provides interactive visualizations of differential analyses, functional enrichment, cell clustering, chromatin accessibility, peak annotation, regulatory networks, and cross-phenotype association plots. HRD supports the retrieval, comparison, and reuse of reproductive and developmental data and analysis results.
