Abstract:
Parkinson's disease is increasingly recognized as a disorder that extends beyond neurons. In this issue of JEM, Stevenson et al. (https://doi.org/10.1084/jem.20251245) highlight the functional consequence of α-synuclein aggregates at the brain border, uncovering their active role in reshaping lymphatic integrity and the neuroimmune macroenvironment.
