Abstract:
This clinical report describes a digitally assisted protocol for bimaxillary complete arch implant rehabilitation with stackable surgical guides, immediate loading, and segmented implant-supported prostheses in a 70-year-old edentulous man. The prosthetically driven digital workflow was based on a double-scan protocol for virtual planning. Eight maxillary and 7 mandibular implants were placed, with the immediate loading of all but 1 implant. After 6 months, definitive segmented restorations were delivered using posterior monolithic zirconia prostheses and an anterior zirconia framework with individual lithium disilicate crowns. This workflow enabled accurate translation of the digital plan to the clinical setting and favorable functional, esthetic, and biologic outcomes.
