[Common boundaries of otorhinolaryngology and ophthalmology (author's transl)]

The necessity for close co-operation between otorhinolaryngologist and ophthalmologist is demonstrated with clinical examples. Surgical approaches familiar to the otolaryngologist offer greater opportunity for optimal patient care particularly in the management of orbital tumours and trauma.
