The genome sequence of the Dark Moss-moth, Bryotropha affinis (Haworth, 1828) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae)
1Natural History Museum, London, England, UK.
Abstract:
We present a genome assembly from an individual female Bryotropha affinis (Dark Moss-moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Gelechiidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 641.75 megabases and 563.96 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (96.39%) was scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W, Z 1 and Z 2 sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.24 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
