Introduction:
Skin disorders are quite common with haemodialysis patients due to vascular, neurological, and immune-mediated risk factors intrinsically connected to chronic kidney disease and the dialysis process.
Case Presentation:
We report a case of cutaneous polyarteritis nodosa in a middle-aged man with painful leg ulcerations. Initially suspected to be a life-threatening condition such as calciphylaxis or severe cellulitis, the diagnosis was confirmed through a skin biopsy.
Conclusion:
This case highlights the complexities of diagnosis and presents a concept map illustrating the relationships between chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and skin disorders.
