Abstract:
An Ir-modification strategy alters the surface chemical states and oxygen coordination environment of Co3O4 nanowire arrays. The resulting Ir/Co3O4-x achieves 90 mV (HER) and 219 mV (OER) at 10 mA cm-2, with >900 h durability at 200 mA cm-2 in alkaline seawater. This approach enables highly efficient, stable bifunctional seawater electrolysis.
