Abstract:
An open-air hyperbranched polyglycerol modification protocol that eliminates inert-gas purging has been developed. The protocol affords surface modification comparable to the conventional argon-based protocol while enabling facile one-pot functionalization. It is further applicable to multiple nanoparticle systems highlighting its utility as a practical and versatile surface-engineering platform.
