Abstract:
Bullous amyloidosis is a rare manifestation of systemic amyloidosis. There are no studies on the prevalence of this condition in the medical literature. Approximately one hundred case reports of the disease have been published, which justifies the need for more epidemiological data to study this condition. This article presents a case report of a patient with amyloid light-chain (AL) amyloidosis and multiple myeloma who developed hemorrhagic bullous lesions on the skin, compatible with the rare form of bullous amyloidosis.
