Coronary perfusion under general and selective cardiac hypothermia

This study evaluated hypothermic cardioplegia in dogs, finding that maintaining myocardial temperatures between 15-18°C only slightly reduced cardiac function. This method is effective for preserving heart function during cardiac procedures.
