Abstract:
We find that a technique analogous to hybrid mechanics previously developed for Gaussian coherent states and molecular vibrations, can be extended to SU(2) coherent states describing coupled qubits. This formulation reveals a sparse structure of the propagator, leading to a computationally efficient scheme while maintaining numerical accuracy. As a result, the method enables simulations of larger qubit systems on classical computers. In particular, we demonstrate accurate real-time propagation for systems of up to 21 qubits, which would be computationally demanding using straightforward quantum-dynamics approaches.

Spin–Spin Coupling: Two-Bond Coupling (Geminal Coupling)
The central atom need not be NMR-active because its electrons are affected by the electron polarization of the spin-active atoms. However, spin information is transmitted less effectively than in one-bond coupling, and 2J values are usually weaker than 1J values. The energy of...

¹H NMR: Long-Range Coupling
In alkenes, spin information is communicated via σ–π overlap, as seen in allylic (four-bond) and homoallylic (five-bond) couplings. These coupling interactions are stronger when the σ bond is parallel to the alkene π orbitals.
