Abstract:
Five dogs with head tilt, ataxia, incoordination or deafness without a history of otitis externa (OE) were diagnosed with otitis media by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Otoendoscopy showed possible tympanic membrane retraction with opaque, fibrotic membranes and advanced imaging showed middle ear involvement. The clinical significance requires further investigation.
