Abstract:
Transverse cervical vessels are a safe and reliable recipient alternative for microvascular reconstruction in vessel-depleted necks. In three complex head and neck cases, all anastomoses succeeded, with 100% flap survival, no re-exploration, and no airway or swallowing sequelae at a minimum 2-month follow-up.
