Abstract:
Due to the high prevalence of psychiatric symptoms among post-COVID patients, there is a clear need for low-threshold psychiatric differential diagnostics and co-treatment. Based on clinical experience with day-clinic and inpatient Post-COVID patients presenting with relevant psychiatric symptoms - such as depressive or anxious affect - Jena University Hospital developed a short-term behavioral therapy intervention for individual settings. This program focuses on psychoeducation, improving coping strategies, and enhancing resource management. The psychotherapeutic manual developed for this purpose is currently being implemented and evaluated via video consultations as part of a three-part treatment program within the WATCH project.
