Abstract:
Early endpoints as surrogates for long-term outcomes are essential for treatment efficacy evaluation. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Conforti et al. report that CPS + EG and Neo-Bioscore scores predict long-term outcomes at the patient level but not at the trial level, highlighting the need for better early endpoints that reliably capture efficacy across trials.
