Stent versus nephrostomy: is there a choice?

    Summary

    The Gibbons ureteral stent offers a successful method for temporary urinary diversion, significantly reducing the need for nephrostomy in most patients. This minimally invasive approach demonstrated excellent patient tolerance and few complications.
