    Background:

    • Lead exposure is a significant occupational hazard, particularly in lead accumulator industries.
    • High lead levels can lead to various health issues, including neurological effects.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate peripheral nerve function in lead accumulator workers.
    • To determine if subclinical neurological deficits are present in workers with significant lead exposure.
    • To correlate lead exposure levels with peripheral nerve function.

    Main Methods:

    • Nerve conduction studies were performed on a group of lead accumulator workers.
    • Blood lead levels and hemoglobin levels were measured for each participant.
