Hazards in the work environment--hydrogen sulfide. Spectrophotometric determination of hydrogen sulfide

A convenient method for determing hydrogen sulfide in air has been developed in which the gas is first absorbed in silica gel and thereafter analyzed spectrophotometically. The limit of detection is one part per billion when measured at a wavelength of 670 nm.
