Background:

Kaposi's sarcoma is a neoplasm most prevalent in tropical climates.
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a cancer of the upper throat, behind the nose.
The co-occurrence of these two distinct malignancies is rare.

Purpose of the Study:

To report an unusual case of Kaposi's sarcoma in an Eskimo patient previously treated for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
To document the clinical presentation and treatment response of this rare presentation.
